Made up of a small but dedicated team, FLOE launched the Tricolate brewer in 2018 after their initial concept was born in 2016. Nine years later, they remain dedicated to advancing no-bypass, high extraction brewing in the pursuit of better coffee.

Named after the company's founding identity, FLOE is described as a large sheet of ice breaking away from a mass.
