Redefining how a portafilter should function and feel, Hummingbird by Canal fuses ergonomic design with modern materials and manufacturing processes to create an ultra lightweight, ultra durable portafilter that is highly configurable and slides effortlessly into place on a wide range of 58mm espresso group heads.

Built with baristas in mind and made to be a professional tool they can carry with them throughout their careers, the Hummingbird Portafilter is 1/3 the weight and requires 1/3 the force to tighten in place—improving workflow efficiency and reducing unnecessary physical strain and fatigue.

A fresh new take on a largely unchanged element of espresso machines, Hummingbird features a fiberglass reinforced polymer and machined alloy body with layflat bottomless design for ease of dosing and tamping, and is available in a range of eye-catching colours.

Includes an 18g IMS basket; optional attachable spout sold separately.
FEATURES

Fiberglass reinforced molded polymer and machined aluminum alloy body provides ultra lightweight, ultre durable build with high heat condictivity.

High temp thermoplastic (PEEK) pads provide ultra smooth insertion; interchangeable pads allow for configurable fitment tailored specifically to your machine.

At just 1/3 the weight and with 1/3 the tightening force required relative to traditional portafilter designs, sets a new standard for ergonomics with improved workflow efficiency and significantly reduced arm and wrist strain.

Fits most 58mm group heads: see here for complete list of compatible machines. (Note: some machines require a one-time reconfiguration to the portafilter.)

Layflat base for ease of dosing and tamping.

Embossed rubber grip.

Includes an 18g IMS basket (model NS2T142), complete set of wear pads and Hummingbird wear pad removal tool, and carrying pouch.
